Box office opening hours
• Mon-Sun: 10 am until start of performance
• Public holidays: open 1 hour before the performance starts
• Priority is given to sales for performances starting in 1 hour or less
• If there are no performances, the box office closes at 7 pm
All you need to order tickets is an email address and a telephone number. Alternatively, you can set up a full visitor account. You can buy a maximum of 10 tickets per performance online. If your group is larger than this, please call the box office.

Payment is collected via a single direct debit order. Tickets can be sent as e-tickets, or by post (up to 5 days before the performance). Postage costs are €1.50 per ticket, up to a maximum of €6 per order. Tickets can also be reserved at the box office, and must be collected/paid for within seven days.

Tickets can be paid for using cash, credit card (Mastercard, Visa), debit card, a Cadeaukaart voucher (formerly Theater- en Concertbon) or a VVV Tourist Information Centre gift card.
Other rules and opening times often apply to ticket sales at alternate venues. For more information, please refer to the specific performance web page.
Several discount are offered for seats in price bands 1 and 2. No discounts apply to seats in price band 3, or to tickets priced €10 or lower. Discounts may not be combined; only the largest discount applies. Group discounts and student rush tickets available only at the box office (not online).
CJP and U-Pass
For most performances, youth aged up to 18 pay €10. Exceptions include cabaret performances in the Douwe Egbertszaal and several major musicals and shows.
Student rush tickets
30 minutes before the start of performances (that are not sold out), students (MBO/HBO/WO) can purchase tickets for €10 upon presentation of proof of enrolment and a valid student ID card (showing a photo and the year). Rush tickets cannot be reserved. One ticket per person only.
When ordering 15 tickets or more, a discount of €2.50 applies to the regular ticket price (not available for price band 3 and tickets priced €10 or less).
Bring your discount card with you
You may be asked for your discount card during ticket inspection. If you cannot produce it, you will have to pay the difference with the full ticket price at the box office.
• Exchange and duplicates
Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. However, tickets can be exchanged for another show or for theatre credit up to one week before the scheduled performance date. Theatre credit is valid until the end of the season, and therefore can also be used when ticket sales open for next season. Credit can only be used when ordering from the box office (including by telephone), not online. These rules do not apply to tickets purchased via other sales channels. Another option is to offer (or sell) tickets yourself at TicketSwap.nl, a safe way to buy and sell e-tickets second-hand.

• Beware of scalpers!
Unfortunately, in addition to official online sales channels, there also are many websites that purchase tickets in bulk to sell at a profit (scalping). People purchasing tickets via these sites may unknowingly pay far more than the original ticket price. This happens without the consent of the artist or organiser. Artists, venues and organisers have joined forces in a campaign to combat ticket scalping (Weet waar je koopt). Take care that you buy tickets only directly from the website of the artist, venue or organiser.
